Maggie Avery is a resident of Bennettsville, SC. Maggie started dancing at the age of 8 and started dancing competitively at the age of 9 and continued to dance competitively throughout the next 9 years. 

Maggie grew up training in all styles of dance. Growing up she had the opportunity to attend multiple competitions and conventions; even having the opportunity to compete for the Title of Miss Dance USA and being named the National Photogenic Champion. Maggie has had the opportunity to take classes and work with award-winning choreographers and companies including, but not limited to, The Columbia City Ballet, Maria Curso, and Brandt Martinez of the North American Tour of “Hamilton.” 

Maggie attended Winthrop University where she continued her dance education by taking dance classes including Ballet Dance Technique, Jazz Dance Technique, Modern Dance Technique, Introduction to Dance, and The History of Dance. Maggie graduated from Winthrop University with her Bachelor of Social Work degree with a double minor in Healthcare Management and Gerontology. She is currently getting her MBA with an emphasis in Healthcare Management from Charleston Southern University. Maggie is excited to be joining the MOVE family!
